Hi i hope someone can help!
when i try and log on to the internet it just stops at Verifying user name and password! I know my freeserve connection works because i use it on my PC. first i had IE 2.0 so i copied 3.0 on to it then 4.0 and now 5.5 but still nothing happens! Freeserve tells me to remove all ticks excecpt TCP/IP and remove the tick from "use IP header compression"
What should i do!
Please someone help

try uninstalling and reinstalling dial up networking.

start->settings->control pane->add/remove programs->windows setup->communications

take the tick out of dial up networking and restart the machine then replace the tick (note make sure you have your win98 disk handy)
