Help! I can't seem to log on to any sites. I type my name and password, and nothing happens. I sit on the log in page. Is this a browser setting? What can I do?

I am sorry for my reply because it is too obvious but try clicking on OK or hit the enter button to see what happens next.

Sorry for my reply, but, duh!.
I mean I can't log on anywhere. It will take me back to the log in page, rather than logging me in. I'm not talking about surfing, or I wouldn't be HERE. I'm talking about, for example, my online banking info, or a page where I need to log in.
Thank you, unicorn

Have you perhaps disabled the access to URLs such as these in a program such as Norton Antivirus, Internet Explorer or ZoneAlarm ? Try switching the first and the last off, one after the other and try again. Norton Antivirus, and my e-banking for example, needs ZoneAlarm disabled on my computer for either of them to work properly. Good luck Dane
