cant load win 95 PLEASE HELP!!!!

boot in safe mode command prompt and view the bootlog.txt file... the last thing you see is the point where the trouble is !! Examine your config.sys and autoexec.bat and make sure there are no obsolete or uncessary drivers/programs.

when you say "Black Screen" do you mean totally black, no words or logos, absolutely nothing?
If so, does your motherboard have onboard VGA?
Most motherboards that use this facility, make use of some of your RAM for the video memory, usually one simm in a particular slot.
If that simm has failed then you will not get any picture at all! Check your motherboard manual, and if it is one of these boards, get your RAM checked. Any decent computer shop should have the facility to do this for you.
