Comment: I had 95 on pc, formated c drive (c:/s) to install 2000 professional ,did it,and is running no problem.I now want to install 98se insted of 2000 I formated c no problem booted up with 98 boot disk but during this it says that it wants to install drivers for cd rom but cant find cd rom have tried differant boot up disks no joy,been to bootdisk.com got 98se boot up disk still no joy would be glad of any help

Reply: (edit)Win 2000 boot sector may still be there.Remove with your Win 98 boot diskette:
fdisk /mbr
Try again installation.
