i have a soundmax intergrated digital audio and i think roland mpu-401. i downloaded a player called kool karaoke and i can't hear it when the music plays i can't even see a midi volume control on my mixer with all the controls . can someone help me with this problem?

Summary: you probably need to reinstall your sound card drivers but you weren't specific about error messages or if the midi player comes up but you just can't hear it or if nothing happens...but sounz like so...
