I uninstalled windows 95 and installed 98 and now I cant get 256 color on my computer only 16 every time I change it to 256 at the control panel it automatically switches back even after reseting it. Does this mean I need a new display adapter. I have a compact computer right now I am using a Q123695 Cirrus Logic adapter w/ 5402 chip set. please help me?
