To your left on this screen, is a link that says DRIVERS. Click on it and at the next page you see click MEMBER LOGIN.
Use the username DRIVERS, and the password ALL.
On the next screen, click the search tab and on the left side of the page, after scrolling down half way, type the words ASOUND EXPRESS into the little box and hit enter.
A page will come up with a list of drivers, pick yours and download.

Hi ladybe,

Actually I had that same problem a few months ago. One way is to find all the disks that your computer came with and see if any of those have the sound drivers you need. If they do then your should be all set. The second one is if that doesnt work then sometimes www.Download.com has what you need.
Hope this fixes your problem.

Hi ladybe.

To find out what you have in your computer download Belarc which is free.

After running it, you will have a list of what is in your computer.

Is the sound card Asound Express PCI?

Here is the Asound Express PCI ALS4000 driver for Windows 98.

You don't mention the model number - the following is for ALS4000.

If it isn't the ALS4000 click on - Click here to go back to Asound list and try and locate the model number of your card.
