"Can't find server" messages... Internet's not working on my daughter's computer. No matter what the URL, we get this message. Her computer's been overtaken by malware to the point of nonfunction. I'm not sure if the internet problem is because of this or if I deleted something vital in trying to get rid of the malware. Regarding the malware: Adaware & Spybot Search & Destroy find new bugs every time we scan, which is daily. I can't download Hijack This or RegSupreme or anything else because now we can't access the internet. I tried downloading these to floppy from my computer, but get error messages. On Hijack This, it says her computer can't read the format. On RegSupreme, it says that the computer's security settings prevent it. (I don't know what that means or how to fix.)

Reinstall Windows and try again.
If that doesn't work, take your hard drive out (or get someone who knows how to do it if you're not comfortable with it) and put it in another machine as a secondary drive. Scan the secondary drive and fix everything you can from there.
If that doesn't work, reformat, reinstall Windows and start again. Make sure you scan any documents or email you have backed up before you re-install them.

Thank you!
No other option but to start over?
Do I have to find the original re-install disk, or can I download from somewhere to a floppy on one computer & install it in the other?
