I have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5. Using this program, I made a VCD on a Memorex CD-RW, and now I can't erase it! Everytime I try to erase, it will get done about 30 seconds, and the CD will still be full of VCD Junk! I've tried formatting the CD-RW using DirectCD, but that doesn't work either. Any ideas?!

I've had that happen also. Try a `full' erase instead of a quick erase.

It won't work either way. Once a CD-RW has been messed up by direct-CD or by ECC, it's gone (at least with that software). Amazing, since this is supposed to be a REwritable CD. I suppose there might be some other program out there that allows an absolute zero value write out of an entire CD, and if it exists, i'd really like to know about it (i'd reclaim a few CD-RWs that were messed up by Direct CD!)
