Howdy, It is still there. Its just not where it was in IE 4.0, tell ya what. Give me a cookie and I'll tell ya. (grin) Ok, being serious now. Go to Tools, Then Internet Opitions and then click on Security Tab, then click on the Custom button for internet and you can disable it from there. You might want to browse around in there since there are more issues to address as well.

Howdy, I should have mentioned that one. If its enabled it can allow someone to view you're clipboard while you are online. Not a major flaw but do ya want someone reading personal info that you might have cut and pasted.

I use MSN homepage. In "search the web" feature. How do I erase the different searches I have Done? It seems to keep everything in memory.

Internet Explorer 5.x
With your Web Browser open

Click on Tools on the top bar.
Then click on Internet Options.
Now, click on the tab that says security.
Next, click on the globe that says "Internet Zone" underneath it.
Click on the button in the bottom of the Window that says "Custom Level."
Now, a new window will open. Scroll down and look for the section on cookies. You'll see a line which says:
"Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer"

Go ahead and click in the circle next to disable.
Now click on OK, and then OK again.
Now you should be back in your web browser, with cookies disabled.

Hi all, I’ve got a problem and it goes like this. I'm running IE 5 on an NT 4 Workstation PC. When I carry out a Postcode query on the www.royalmail.com/paf website I get a message stating that the Browser IE5, requires Cookies. I have carried out unsuccessfully the following remedies:

1) Clearing the Internet Cache 2) Upgrading the Cipher Strength 3) Removing & reinstalling IE 5 5) Enabled Cookies in the Security options 6) Recreated the user’s local Profile. Please help me!! Thanking you
