Hello Everyone, How are you all doing? I have a wierd problem on my computer and I hope someone can help me. My OS is Windows 95. One day these icons appear on my desktop and I tried throwing it in the recycle bin, but it keeps coming back. It seems that when I run certain programs these icons reappear again. These icons that keeps coming back are: 1. Name: error.log Type: LOG File Ms-Dos name: Error.log 2. Name: default.lst Type: Lst File Ms-Dos name: Default.Lst 3. Name: ad Type: Dat File Ms-Dos name: Ad.Dat 4. Name: Ub Type: Date File Ms-Dos name: Ub.Dat I don't know what I installed or did, but these icons won't leave. Can anyone please help? I appreciated it! Thank you

It would appear that those are remnants of an Adware program that is no longer functioning properly and resulting in errors. I think you would be best off to complete all of the Spybot removals concerning your previous post to rid your PC of ad and spyware. Regards, Bryan

Hello Bryan, I tried spybot again but it doesn't remove those icons on my desktop. I threw in the recycle bin, but I noticed everytime I opened up internet explorer it reappears again... I also notice my internet explorer would encounter errors when I visit some websites. I would get this message. INTERNET EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in module MSHTML.DLL at 0137:70d6e306. I can't upgrade my internet explorer because I'm running win95. I have ie5setup and I was wondering maybe I can uninstall internet explorer and reinstall it again... do you know how to uninstall?
