Can't create new folder

OS: Win 98 SE
CPU/Ram: Duron 1200 512MB

Since I deleted nvidia graphics card drivers I am unable to create a new folder in Windows Explorer. If I right click in the folder or use the file drop down menu the "New" option is missing.
All help gratefully received!

Shaun, Go to the link below which has instructions to get the "New" command option back on your right click context menu.
