Comment: I cna't access the Internet with either Internet Explorer or Outlook Express. I can get out to other dial up sites ok using Hyperterminal) and I can sign in to my ISP. I have ran Spybot S&D, AVG Antivirus and Ad-Aware and they run clean. Would appreciate any help you can provide mikesr

Reply: (edit)Also, try IE Repair. Copy/Paste this into the Run box and then run the Repair offline: rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance (note space after 32 if you type it in). If you are still running IE5 then substitute 5 for 6. DerekW

Reply: (edit)Do you have a prepaid internet account? The fact that you can sign in to your ISP but not to other sites usually means your ISP account is awaiting some sort of action. A top up for example.

Reply: (edit)Check to see if your firewall's up. Is your computer a laptop? If it is, instead of double-clicking the Internet Explorer icon, right-click it, then click on "open homepage". If this doesn't work, go into the start menu, then programs then left-click on Internet Explorer. I had the same problem with my laptop. From,Vi.
