I have just installed this scanner to my pc (win98) without problems but the scanner doesnt work. At "Preview", error msg says "Release the lock switch, detach the USB cable and reconnect. Close the scanner driver". I have done accordingly many times even though the local switch is unlocked all the time. Doing a "scanner diagnostics" in Scangear CSU shows no problems. I also notice that the scanning unit does not return to home position at the front of the scanner. The unit lights up all the time. Do you think I should return it to the shop? Thanks in advance.
