I have Windows 95 on a Compaq Presario and use Canon BJC-210SP printer. Just two days ago the printer started acting up and stopping printing a third of the way through the first page of any job from any Windows app. I downloaded and installed the LPD.VXD fix program and v3.96 of the Canon printer drivers but the problem was not solved by this. If I just send a text file directly to the printer port from the DOS command prompt it works OK. So I don't think that the hardware is the problem The problem seems to be in the Win95 driver. Has anyone had a similar experience or come up with a solution? Thanks Evan

I have seen this problem before with Cannons. My suggestion: Smash it on the sidewalk and by an Epson. that's what I did and now I don't have any problems. (sorry, that I'm a little biased about cannons) ;-)

As d said, that might be a solution to you, but just try the following, Once you bootup window, Press Crtl+Alt+Del once ONLY !! A end task menu will popup. End Task all program EXCEPT explorer and Systray. Then try to print. It might be a program crash between each another. 2nd any other device eg. scanner or switch box between your computer and printer. If yes remove then and do a direct connection.

i too have the same problem. i tried reinstalling the driver. it still did not work. i am not very good with computers and am about to buy a new printer. if you have found a way to fix the problem please forward the fix to me.

Well all of you are not the only ones that are having problems. We are having every single problem under the sun. If anyone has any idea about our problems then PLEASE let us know.

The eror message I receive is : "Color adjustment method will not be available" Can't produce black print, only blue.

i can actually print from the printer but everytime i print,i get the colour black,despite using the colour cartridge.what must i do,teach me because i need it urgently.
