When I try to open Help from Start Menu, I get a message stating "Illegal Operation - HH caused an invalid page fault in module ITSS.DLL at 0177:7d0dlcb3. Registers: EAX=00000000 CS=0177 EIP=7d01cb3 EFLGS=00010202 How can I use Windows Help again? Thanks very much.

I can open only few help files (only the files with "?")by double clicking on windows explorer. Most of the help functions cannot be opened from windows explorer. Thanks Ergmiester for your suggestion. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem. I can't find anything of help at Microsoft's site. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong?

I found it, thanks to Alta-Vista search!! Go to http://ftp.nsysu.edu.tw/Windows/MsDownload/ie5/rtw/x86/tw/cab/ Download the hhupd.cab file and extract it (I used winzip) to your Windows/System directory. It worked like a charm for me. Good luck.
