Cannot see minimize windows

when I m doing multitasking i cannot see minimize windows on my taskbar. But when I alt+ tab i can see all the windows that are running. I dont know what happen to my pc it was fine before. Anything that I minimize word , internet explore its just disappear from windows taskbar in order to see them again i have to use alt+tab. Please help!
