Could it be possible that your CD letter is different now than when you installed the game? Maybe when you installed the game, the CD letter was D and maybe something has changed it to another letter? Happened to me.

Good Luck

I have had a couple of experiences like yours with various software titles.

First, Smitty had a good idea. If the drive letter has changed, you will have to re-install the software.

Second, do you have two CD drives? If yes, try putting a different CD in the other drive. This will force the program to look in the correct drive.

Third, if the CD drive letter is very high, some software won't like it. For instance if your drive is P or S...

Forth, if you are using an "archive" copy of the CD, you may have to use the original instead.

Fifth, contact the manufacturer of the affected titles.

All out of ideas... Best luck,
-Bob

I have tried this JC, but it keeps saying make sure the disk is not write protected or some such. Its a copy of a copy, it works fine for my friend but not for me.

Please do not waste my time with questions like "help, my software won't work because it's stolen."
