Cannot find KRNL386.EXE

A once reliable Win95 PC will now not boot. Error message received is "Cannot find or load KRNL386.exe". File exists and size is correct. Any thoughts?

Wayne, Krnl386.exe belongs in \windows\system\ folder. If it is somewhere else, move it. If it is already there, then try replacing it. Just go to another computer running same version of 95, copy file to floppy, and then copy from floppy to c:\windows\system . If windows still won't load after this, re-install windows. Note: If your win98 is version B, and you have IE4 installed, E-mail me before attempting re-install. Hope this helps, Al
