Alright, I can sign into both my yahoo and hotmail accounts, but when I try to write or access my inbox it will not load it says "page cannot be displayed" and similiar messages.. I have tried 3 different browsers on 2 different computers on my network. The strange part is it works on one computer, which has windows ME.. both the win98 se ones will not work. I have tried deleting cookies, temporary files, etc... virus scans, adware scans, and my network settings... I dont think anything has chnaged besides my network settings which I was messign with yesterday, but I can restore them back to default and the problem persists. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Zoda
Go to the internet options set the security level to medium & the privacy level to medium high.

One more thing does the message appears when you login to ur A/c or the site itself is not opening. I mean to say are you able to enter your passwords.

I tried doing that as you said, didn't work.. good idea though.
Okay well.. Yahoo I can sign in and go to their page which tells how many messages you have and all that.. On hotmail I can't even get past the login screen anymore. It's that standard message when a page doesnt work.. Ya know like if you tried to go on asite and were not online?

Hi Zoda
I cannot tell much about about Hotmail. But if you'r still having trouble visiting yahoo try these steps.
Login through:
www.mail.yahoo.com
or
www.my.yahoo.com

and as far as hotmail is concerened quite possible their serevers are going down.

Tell me if that works

I solved the problem, of course it was the stupidest little thing.. I had changed a setting on my router under WAN settings.. the MTU size... I tried turning the value up to 1500 to see if it would work then I forgot all about doing it and didnt even realize it was an obvious cause of why it wouldnt work right. Thanks for the support Naman..

if anyone runs into this problem here is what mine says "The normal MTU (Maximum Transmit Unit) value for most Ethernet networks is 1500 Bytes, 1492 Bytes for PPPoE connections, or 1436 for PPTP connections"
