Have Compaq Presario computer.Bought Cannon printer.Now when I ask it to print I get a window that comes up [NE3ASTATM] "Failed to initialise the printer driver properly" Then I click on OK and it goes away. Why @ What can I do? This didn't happen w/Nec printer that I uninstalled. I do not know much about computers. I just got on the internet thought you might be able to help. Thank you Rochelle Davis

Sounds like you may have to reinstall the software that came with the printer..

I know the basic about computers. I had to have a power pack install in my computer and ever since I had trouble with my printer. Sometimes it will print a test page but, I can't get it to print a document. The printer will make marks going across sometimes it will do one are two lines that you can hardly read. Please send me some information on what the setting should be after the print is install. There is nothing that tells you what should be checked on or not checked on your computer.Please help me.

My printer says to print and it says its printing but nothing comes out only blank paper, there seams to be ink in it, Where is the cheapest place to get a refill

About the printer driver not printing proporly you may need to download a printer driver from the net. You may have got a bad driver in your software. im having problems with my BJC-4200 Cannon printer the head moves back and forth but no ink goes on the paper ive replaced the cartridge and cleaned the head contacts but still dont work wondering if there is anything else i can do myself to try to fix it because to pay to have it fixed i could have a new printer. i was printing a 10 page doc when it broke and the first couple of pages came out fine but the rest was blank and anything that i try to print now is also blank even though the head moves back and forth. is it possible that the ribbon cable broke and is this something that is replaceable without special tools please advise any help would be appreciated

When I go to print, I hear the correct grinding sound, and it looks like the printing is about to happen, but it doesn't. Not even a blank page spits out. I have to go to my computer lab at a college an hour away (and it's finals!) if I cannot get this to print. Please help soon. Thank you.

I have two Conon printers. About 3 days into 2000, my wife's and my printer stopped working at the same time, and with the same message.No printer installed, then, Something about a spool problem. Then when I looked in the printer folder it had no printers in it. No printer installed. After opening the folder 3 or 4 times it would show the printer. Now when I try and print a picture, I get a message about the color is not right, and or a message not enough memory. I have removed it and re-installed it, still no help. same problem. What do I do???

My BJC-4300 stopped printing. I have the current driver, new ink, cables and power is secure, cleaned the head, did a nozzle test and still nothing. I have searched on the net and see that I am not the only one with this problem. Cannon sux. Please help me.

I installed your software diver, on my new computer with Windows 98 the printer works great but when I turn the computer down and bring it back up I receive an error message that says the following.
The BR-SRVC.DLL file is linked to missing Export MFC 42.DLL:6467 also The MNYUI.DLL file is linked to missing MFC.DLL:6467
When I remove the printer software this missing does not come up
Please help me

I installed your software driver on my new HP computer with Windows 98. The printer works fine and does what it is supposed to do, as far as I am concerned. But, when I restart the computer I receive two "error starting program" message:

The BR_SRVC.DLL file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6467

The MNYUI.DLL file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6467

In addition to these, I also get:
A required .DLL file, MNYUI, was not found &
" ", BR_SRVC, " "

Even after I remove the printer software these messages appear on the screen.

Please advise me on what to do at your earliest convenience(ASAP!) I have had this problem since a month ago.

apparently i'm not the only one who is having problems printing with my BJ-4300. i replaced the ink cartridge (which i had done several times before with no problem) and now it won't print anything. i've cleaned the heads, tried another cartridge, yelled at it, etc... to no avail. getting ready to reinstall drivers so we'll see...

I have a canon BJC 4304 photo realism Priter.
With my old pc it worked fine,But now that I have gotten a New Compaq Presario, It no longer works,SaysI need a Blk ink cartridge or it will go thr like it is printing but noghting is on paper, The pc said It is not printing the true font,That I need a updated driver,I have looked but am not finding one.I am running win.98 Found one for Win. 3.1 and 95. Could you help us out?

I'm running into the same problem as noted in #18 and others, but it's with an Epson Stylus Color 850 hooked up to an HP running Win98, so apparently it's not limited to Canon printers. If anyone comes across a fix, clue me in, eh?

I get a error when i try to print.
There was an error writing to LPT1. (canon bjc4300)the printer is not ready. Make sure it is turned on and on line. to continue printing,click retry. We checked cables and tried startup disk still nothing. Need help asap.

I recently loaded 2 new ink cartriges into the printer, both a colour and a black. They were brand new but the computer still will not print as if it is out of ink. Paper comes out but there is nothing on it. Could you offer any suggestions as to what I did wrong?

I haven't checked out all my applications yet, but the message went away by replacing MFC42.DLL with the latest version.
