hi i am currently looking for a Email Server as the one that we have now isnt very good. We are running Win95, 98, 98se on a netware 3.12 server, and we currently have Pegasus Mail and Mercury as the email distribution PC. We are looking to change all that so each user has Outlook Express on their workstations, but heres the catch. Cause my bosses are security concieous they dont want people to have there own email address, why i dont know, they want them all the have outlook on their desktop, but for them all to see the same folder, if you know what i mean? so that all of them can see one inbox, and reply to messages from there. i know it sounds weird, and it is, but does any one know of any software that we can use instead of Mercury, that will collect emails from Demon via ISDN and then distribute them around the building? The software has to run with Netware and also Outlook. Cheers Thanks in Advance Graeme

I think your boss is asking to much. If all E-mails go to the Same Inbox, and therfore have the same address, no software in the world is going to be able to distribute them except to the same Inbox. I dont see how everyone having the same e-mail address is going to improve security, quite the opposite in fact. A rouge E-mail won't just infect one PC, its likely to infect them all. The only thing it will achieve is to allow everyone to see everyone elses E-mail. Perhaps that what you Boss wants? The best thing you could do to improve security is to get rid of Outlook Express and use some other E-mail client. Stuart
