If I have five PCs operating under Windows 95, can I setup an email system to exchange email amongst these five users, without having to install a server or having to buy any more software ?

No doubt.
All you need are five Email addresses, which can be provided by your ISP. Since most ISPs charge extra for more than one or two addresses, web-based Email accounts would be another option.
Drop me a line if you have a problem, or if there are additional variables. SailCat@SailCat.com
