can i just uninstall windows in add remove programs then install win 98 SE
can i just uninstall windows in add remove programs ? because theres an option which says 'uninstall windows 98' then install win 98 SE full version not upgrade

No you need to just fdisk your drive and then install the full version of win98 se on your computer. But you can get the upgrade version also and install that over win 98. Does this help you out?
whats f disking and if you do it do you loose everything like formating ? thanks SORRY ABOUT THE ABOVE

You will lose data if you fdisk. It sounds like you know nothing about upgrading, se is not that great it can wait until you learn more. goto howto section and read. If all you have is the full version you will need to back up any data and to a full install.

Yep fdisk is to partion or repartion your drive. It is form of formatting. Yes you will lose all your data if you do this. If you are looking to save all data and settings as is then you will need to just get the win 98 se upgrade cd else you will have to start fresh.
