No, it would make no difference. Make sure your modem has the latest drivers and is a v90 if possible. Your connection speed usually depends on your telephone line provider. You can get progs. that 'increase' the connection speed but as they usually pre-cache pages their effectiveness is dubious. The only way is to go on ISDN or similar or cable.

I guess Yup or nope depends on whether the modem was specially designed to run with another matched modem. You know you have to have two phone lines to use two modems?

I think you might be able to use 2 modems. There is software available (where I dunno) that lets you do this 2. Isp must provide the service (lil more $ maybe) 3. faster than 53K on 1 phone line is the limit (regulation) but 2 lines will allow this 4. the modems will alternate recieving and processing the packets @ theoretically 2x speed.
