Reply: (edit)You are correct, you should increase the amount of RAM you have - to lets say 128 is good. Other than that install away. Make sure you have a lot of HD space, you will need it.

Reply: (edit)32mb isn't much for Win2000, if you can upgrade to at least 64mb, or even 96mb that would be much better.
As for your CPU that will be fine.
How much free disk space do you have?

I'm smiling when I say this. Welcome to the any OS under the sun forum. The W9x title for this forum means absolutely nothing.
If & when you do manage change the OS to Win 2000 please stay right here as the Win 2000 forum is really the W9x forum anyway, but then your one of the few intelligent ones who's figured that out already.
Here's hoping your Bios,Software, Hardware and Peripherals are ready and able to receive Win 2K (AKA NT5) with open IRQ's & Ports.
