can I install unix8 o/s on my laptop? it is a new ibm laptop and it has win2000 and i want to partition the hardrive and install unix 8 o/s on the partitioned drive. is it possible? if so, how do i do it? thanks in advance, sherrie

I don't think it would hurt to try it out. Linux installs perfectly fine. I would think that Unix should be similar. If you are still concerned, wait for other replies from more experienced users. Kevin.
