I downloaded a program called CallWave which is supposed to be the poor man's answer to call waiting . I ran Adaware and am still clear of spyware - so far ao good , but I haven't received a call while on the net as yet . Does anyone have any experience with progam ??

I use it at home, I have had it for over two years and it works very well. I have the $35 dollar a year version. You should go to their web site and familiarize yourself with the setup aspect. I had to put in ,*70 in my ISP startup to disable call waiting so the callwave would function. You must also have call forwarding through your telelphone company. You can test whether it works or not at the callwave site. The advantage is great I don't have to have two phone lines, I can hear the message right after it comes in and if I don't want to get off the net, I can wait till later. I have tried other systems but this seems to work the best.

It gets an A+ in my opinion. I have been using it for nearly two years. Good luck!

It worked well for me too! If you are running a firewall, you have to set it to allow Callwave to work though. It worked with Zone Alarm once I had it configured correctly.
I say "worked" because I got DSL recently, so no more need for Callwave.
I think Callwave is great!
