I have a problem downloading files with extensions of C01, C02, C03 etc. They always open when I click on them instead of bringing up an options box of "Save to disk" or "Open with:" How do I geet these files to down load like any other so I can just save to disk?

They´re also probably stored in your Windows/Temp or InternetTemp-folder.

To get back 'open with' you can go into Regedit and click on branch 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT' and delete .c01 and then go down a bit and delete c01file, do the same for both. This should be safe 'cause they all will come back when you use 'open with'H-C-R is where all your extensions are registered, when you use view>options>file types this is what you are looking at but differently, actually you can delete them from here instead of the going into the Registry [safer]. The 'save to disk' I'm not sure but they may be read only. These files might already be associated with a program which is why they would open.

Does this type of file have a name? Searches for relevent information without it are fruitless.
