Hi,I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to bypass the win 98 startup screen.I can't seem to find the post from earlier.

If you have TweakUI, go to the boot tab and uncheck " Display splash screen while booting "
Other method is to do what TweakUI does, edit MSDOS.SYS.
Use Notepad.exe to add this line at the bottom of the file:
Logo=0
Save and exit.
Reboot to take effect.

Thanks for all the answers to disabling win98 startup/splash screen. But Tinkerbog, I, for one, would need a fuller explanation how to do this by editing using Notepad; I opened Notepad, but didn't know how to procede from there. Thanks, tho. I'll try to find out more how to use Notepad.
