Hi,

I'm not computer illiterate, but not knowledgeable enough to build a puter from scratch.

Basically the system I have right now is just not enough, to perform or compute at the level of accommodation.
My needs and wants, I'm afraid are out of this computers processing power.
I currently have a HP Pavilion with 98se,
Pentium III 600 mhz, and 256 megs of ram. I know my motherboard is at least six years old,and my graphics card only has 64 megs of memory.

I do a lot of multi media work (video and photo editing, Animation and Web building), that involves memory intense programs such as Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop, and website applications such as Flash and Swish. I also play a good amount of games and movies, graphic intense games like Call of Duty, Rise of Nations, Myth, and so on.

As of now I'm a Student so I have a relatively small budget ($700), so considering that. What computer would be suggested that I get? Keep in mind it must be able to handle the above being thrown at it, and perhaps "FAR CRY" When ever I hear Fry Cry I think Of the kick ass computer that it is being played on. I guess cause I see so many demonstrate that if your computer is able to play Far Cry then you have an up to date and powerful machine, Well At least to my understanding?

Excluding the monitor , speaker setup, key board, mouse and accessories What should I buy?
