I have run across a very curious problem here. On some applications that use pop-up windows and text boxes, some text is not being displayed properly. Text that should be on buttons or next to check-boxes is being displayed off the buttons entirely, or is only partially visible, or overlaps other text. The first time I noticed this it was on a 3rd party test-prep utility, and I chalked it up to a flaw in the program. But then I lent the cd to a friend and he didn't have any problems with it. Now I notice that when I select "Find (on this page)" from the pull-down Edit menu in IE5, The text "Match whole word only" is partially overlapping "Match case." I recently upgraded my video driver hoping that would help, but it didn't. I'd appreciate any feedback on this, it really has me perplexed.

My system info is as follows:
FIC VA-503+ Motherboard, 128MB Ram
AMD K62-500, Matrox Millenium 4MB PCI
Soundblaster PCI64
USR 56K modem
SAF CD Turbowriter RW
Mitsumi CD-ROM
IBM 20GB HDD
Windows 98 SE

Again, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave
