I recently get a spam-offer for a program that can burn DVDs on my normal CD-R drive.
This is snake-oil, right?

Ver ymuch snake oil. First off, you can't burn a dvd on a CD\RW drive. You are actually burning a VCD which is way lower quality.

Second, this site doesn't even sell the software, it just takes your money, then points you to VCD help sites and shareware programs.

It's the biggest rip-off to date.
