Burned CD reads fine on some comps

I'm trying to distribute a program by burning it to CD. Most people I send this out to have no problems. One person's computer reads the CD as some kind of Audio/media CD. What could cause this? What aspect of the process could cause something like that? Burn program? Computer being installed to? Driver problem? I know that without knowing the full details of the computers involved it would be hard to pin point, but any general area that I can look at would be great. Lordy, any help on this one would be very helpful. Thanks to anyone who even looks at this one. Thanks!

I'd say it's most likely the cd-rom itself. Some older cd-roms simply won't read some burned media. Also, it could be that you didn't finalize the cd. I've done that before and it read fine on a new system, but wouldn't read on an old one.

Just to add my two cents worth, burned cd's work the other way around as well. Some will be read by older cd-roms while newer cd-roms won't read them. It seems like a crap shoot sometimes when it comes to burned cd's. Colour of the cd's also affects their readability. We had some at work where desktops would read them while laptops wouldn't due to the colour.
