Hi:
Have upgraded firmware on my plextor 12/10/32a burner. When i try to burn a directory of approx 840 mb, winoncd 3.8 only allows 700 mb/99 mins.
How do i overcome this. The dealer said to get the latest version of winoncd. is he right?

In order to burn an 850MB CD your CD Writer must support it, upgrading firmware will not be enough, the hardware HAS to support it as well, and you will need newer cd burning software. NOTE: If you try to burn a 850 cd and the drive doesn't support it you will ruin your drive, your cd, and maybe even fry your motherboard or drive controller card.
