i guess that not so goood for you.
anyways...

listen up:

the problem you have is - a phisical connection between a device on your computer that is probably not plug & play (somthing like a Hard-Drive or a card) has terminated.
since i don't know what you could have possibly done to cause that. (it could be caused by changing the I/O settings from the "Device Manager" or phisically damaging your mainboard (or motherboard).
think back carefully about what you may have done to cause it. and try entering the computer from "Safe Mode" to change it back if it is revesable.

If you are running windows 95, there is a patch for this problem. Find it at http://www.bootdisk.com. It is in patches section, named IOSfix495allver.

Al, What does this patch fix? I have a old hard drive controler that will only run in DOS compatibility mode in windows 95. cmd 640 ide to pci. Would this patch help? Thanks
