After installing a new motherboard, chip, and powersupply and not have it work I decided to put the leftover pecies in another case so I could get on the internet to find out waht the deal was. After putting everything together on the bootup screen i get a message that says "pxe-m04 hooking bootstrap interuppt 18h" then i get a message that says invalid system disk, replace and hit any key to continue. It never evne makes it as far as booting from the floppy. What gives??? Thanks in advance!

I think that whatever you are installing is being misinterpreted in your bios. American Megatrends website ami.com has some literature on how their bios interprets these interupts. Maybe check out the website for your bios.

This is the thing. That motherboard worked fine a few hours prior to my problem. I installed a Maxtor 8 gig harddrive and a Creative 48x cd rom. My other harddrives and cd rom and burner went into my new system. I am also using the latest version of my Bios. Oh well i will go to that site and check it out. Thanks.
