Is there a way to prevent bootlog.txt from being written during boot up?

WHY! bootlog txt will only be written to if you ask it to (F8 step-by step) It's a good place to look for errors if you have a problem booting (ie device not loaded)

Actually, the bootlog is written to every time Windows starts. Who knows why Microsoft gives you an extra option for it, because your startup is logged every time in bootlog.txt. I don't know of a way to disable that logging, but I can't think of a good reason why to disable it.
