A system disk is a disk with an operating system installed on it. The OS (or part of it) on your hard drive may have been corrupted. To diagnose the problem, you need to boot from a win95 startup floppy. Put the floppy in the drive. Enter the Bios setup routine and make sure that the floppy is first in the boot sequence. Then restart the machine. It should boot up to an A: prompt. Type: scandisk c: To check your hard drive.
