I just replaced my motherboard, RAM, and CPU. The problem I am having is that when the system is cold, I can't boot it up. It has video, tests memory, then shows the hard drives and CD-ROms, and then stops. If I turn it off and then back on a couple of times, it boots up but I get the ESCD.....Success message. Any clue what the problem is? Thanks

You may want to double check the jumper settings on your hard drives/cd-roms and make sure the slave/master settings are correct. I had this problem before, i almost tore my hair out, but all because of one little jumper.

My computer was working just fine, when I turned it on it wouldn't go directly into my Windows 98, it stops at DOS screen. I tried typing everything I could think of to go into Windows, but it just gives an "invalid command." Is the computer shot or what? HELP.

I have seen this with motherboards that have hard drives larger than 7.8GB and can't support it. Try disconnecting the hard drive and see if you can boot off of a floppy.
