boot sector virus, can't install OS

This is not a request for help! I just wanted to post an alternate solution to a known problem. I had a problem with a boot sector virus warning message that prevented me installing WIN98 on a newly formatted hard drive. In previous posts the solution to this problem was given as "disable the BIOS virus protection". For my particular BIOS I was not able to do this - there was no setting for it. After much searching I found another workaround that involved installing Win98 without writing to the boot sector & then transferring system files after install.
The command to do this is setup /ir
