Hi

I have just cloned my hd partition from my old 1G drive to a 15G HD. Fat 16. I'm getting this error when I boot in windows on the desktop. The boot sector can not be read (PW22)

Any ideals..|?

Ken

Sure I have ideas! I would suspect that you went from fat16 to fat32 and the version of 95 you have doesn't support fat32. And you thought cloning was easy :-) Now you could have just run into a glitch with your cloning and might try it again. But if you have the same results you can't clone to larger then 2gig which is the fat16 limit. So try doing only 2gig on your clone and see if that works. You can always use the rest of the drive as another partition/drive letter and that works fine.

Hi

Ok, I have fixed it.. Just download the power management program again after clonning and like u said partition the HD for another drive and also the funny thing is it works with Windows 95A on Fat32. I have just clone a partition with 7G on it.
