i want to change my boot password. i put the new password in the setup bios configuration. when the the password window is proposed. i try the new password but the don't accept neither the new nor the old password can you help me please.

You have two options, both involving taking the cover off the PC. The simplest way is to locate the clock battery on the motherboard and either remove it or block it's connection (with a piece of cardboard or something like that). This should cause the BIOS to lose it's setup and unlock the Setup utility. Alternatively, if you have the manual for your PC you can set the relevant 'jumper' on the system board to clear the password protection. If you don't have this, get the make & model of your PC and search the net for it.

If its an AWARD bios then there's a secret system password AWARD_SW (in caps)
