Boot Disk Failure

OS: Windows 95
CPU/Ram: 1.3 AMD 256mb SDRAM

We just put together a new 1.3 gig AMD and the boot disk won't work... i also tried the boot disk from bootdisk.com but it just keeps saying boot record not found! What could be wrong?

You didn't just copy the d/l'd file to a floppy, did you? You need to run it from the hard drive and create the bootdisk.

Also, in CMOS ensure that 'boot from floppy' is enabled, and the boot sequence should have A: as the first boot device.

Bootdisks (with CD-ROM support) can also be d/l'd here.
