Bluetooth installation software

When I try to install blurtooth drivers / stack it gets to detecting the first device ((this is the Microsoft TV/Video Connection device))
It just stays on the Windows has found new hardware bit forever leaving me unable to complete setup
Those exact drivers seem to work without problem on Windows ME and on Windows 2000
I have tryed the setup without the bluetooth dongle and with it, both times give same result

Well if your useing Windows 98SE it most likley wont work, it the program was made for then 2000 then it most likley will only work with2000.

yes you are correct I think during Its extraction before setup it says its for windows 2000 / XP
I assumed it was for any windows because I installed it on my brothers windows me system without any problems ?
(windows me is based on DOS/WIN9x)
anyway stupid legalitys with bluetooth mean I pay for bluetooth dongle and drivers and if I want new drivers with bug fixes ect ... I have to pay again!!! :-(
