Try loading all appropriate drivers for all your PCI, AGP, or ISA cards. Get the drivers straight from the company, and not the Windows 95/98 CD. This is for two reasons, the CD will probably not have up-to-date drivers, and second of all, the drivers on the disk are made by microsoft because they can't put the official drivers, legally. I had a similar problem with a computer I was building, it was a ATI 8Mb Rage III I believe, if I remember correctly. Anyways, soon as I was able to load the correct drivers from the company, there was no more error. Hope this works out for you! Bye. |
