I've been having a problem with my printer. I have a Canon BJC-2010 printer. When I print, it prints a page fine but there is no text on it. It's completely blank. I cleaned the heads of the cartridges several times, and even took the thing out and wiped the bottom of the cartridge holder thing. I've had this problem before and usually just replacing the cartridge will fix it, so I went out and bought a new black one. Tried to print a page of text, still nothing. I've been running test prints and those are blank too, for color and black & white. I REALLY really need this printer to work soon, how can I fix it? Thanks.

Hi Liz. Have you tried uninstalling the printer, then installing it again, then when you are asked to test the printer select yes. Also have you looked in Control panel, printer, properties, to see what the settings are. Hope this helps. Have a nice day Liz.

The Canon printers that I've seen have what they call a BJ cartridge and black and color 'tanks' which slip into the cartridge. I believe that your cartridge is probably defective.

They are pretty expensive, Somewhere about $50. I would do some more checking, possibly with Canon tech support or take it in to a shop before buying a new cartridge.
