I HAVE LOCKED MY BIOS UP WITH A PASS WORD BUT I HAVE FORGOTON IT.

Not true.

Check your motherboard specs,most motherboards have a jumper right beside the cmos,when this one is removed,the password is cleared,but check your mobo specs to be sure!

Hi!

Just go to setup, enter the CMOS and then in the passwords, change to disable. I heard that removing the CMOS battery works as well.

if it is an award bios then the default password is "lkwpeter" without the exclamation marks of course.
just type it in and it should get u in to the bios, and u can change it from there

you should switch probbably jumper no 5 or another jumper from 2-3(keeping data) to 1-2(clearing data), revieuw your mainboard guide it will tell where and wich jumper.
After switching the jumper wait a while you dont have to turn on your pc during this time then switch it back to keeping data and start your pc and next time be shure of what you are doing.
