BIG PROBLEM WITH wsock32.dll

I'm having problems with wsock32.dll. (I'm using windows 98). When I start my computer, I get the message "can't start wsock32.dll, not enough memory", please close any programs". However, all my programs work fine, accept for internet. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?!

you need to replace yourwsock32.dll file. To do this you will need a win98 cd.
Here is how....goto START-->RUN-->then type sfc-->press ok then EXTRACT ONE FILE FROM INSTALLATION DISK place the file in Windows\system.

I have the same problem, BUT, I can only boot up in safe mode because of RPCSS page faults in wsock32.dll I cant use the internet because of this, my CD drive is not available at this stage of SAFE mode. So I cannot perform the SFC job. ?? Any suggestions or am i doing something wrong ?? Thank you in advance for any advise.
