Hello,

I need some heelp please. I have a Win 98 machine that has been completly reloaded. I formated the hard drive and reinstalled windows 98.

I got all of my drivers loaded and I can't get my modem to connect. I gives me different error like error 678, 680, 629 ect. but I can never make a connection.

I have tried three different modems in my machine, all new and it doesn't work. I have even tried different PCI slots.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks a lot in advance.

When you go to 'modems' in control panel, click 'diagnostics' and click once on the modem com port to highlight it and then click 'more info', what happens?
